A solid walnut neo-renaissance style console table, made in lyon between 1890 and 1910.
the symmetrical structure features three drawers on the front, fitted with turned round handles and blackened metal lock escutcheons. Three drawers on the back are finished with a faux finish, allowing the piece to be displayed as a center table. The side supports are shaped like scrolled consoles, carved with foliate motifs and rosettes, framing panels with geometric moldings. A lower shelf connects the two supports, ensuring the stability of the piece. The tabletop has a recessed, molded edge and shows signs of natural wear consistent with its age. The piece is entirely original and in good overall condition for its period. Cleaning is recommended. Dimensions: h. 86 cm – w. 81 cm – estimated weight: 120 kg.
