this beautifully proportioned piece is crafted in mahogany and mahogany veneer, with refined brass detailing throughout. The façade features two drawers above two cabinet doors, framed with geometric brass trim.

the fluted side uprights and tapered legs are finished with elegant brass mounts, while the cabinet is topped with a substantial white marble top with softly rounded corners.

maurice hirsch was a french furniture designer and decorator active during the 20th century, known for his sophisticated interpretation of french neoclassical furniture. His work is also associated with the prestigious parisian decorating house maison jansen.

the sideboard is in excellent vintage condition. The marble top is particularly well preserved, with no significant damage. The wooden surfaces show only a few minor traces of age and use, consistent with the period and adding to the authenticity of the piece.
