Style & Period

Art Nouveau (circa 1900–1910) with influences from late Historicism and the Reform Movement. The clean lines, the finely executed geometric carvings, high-quality brass fittings, and the beveled mirror are characteristic features of high-quality German furniture from the turn of the century.

Material & Craftsmanship

Made of solid hardwood with a beautiful, vibrant grain and high-quality finish. The original brass fittings harmonize perfectly with the finely crafted wooden embellishments. The upper section features an original beveled mirror, which lends the piece additional elegance and spatial depth.

The upper section is attached using original wooden dowels and can be easily detached from the lower section for transport or display.

Function & Features

This high-quality Art Nouveau sideboard impresses with its practical and spacious layout.

The lower section features two lockable cabinet doors with ample storage space, as well as two lockable drawers. Above is a generous work surface.

The pull-out worktops on both sides are particularly practical, significantly expanding the usable surface and retracting completely when not in use.

The upper section features a large beveled mirror and an additional shelf with a decorative gallery wall.

All locks are functional, and a matching key is included.

Condition

Very well-maintained, original condition with only minimal signs of age-related wear. The surfaces have a beautiful patina. All doors, drawers, locks, and the two pull-out worktops function perfectly. The original beveled mirror is well preserved.
