An elegant antique English tea service by Melba China, England, dating from the early 20th century. This charming set features a beautifully scalloped shape with an elaborate floral design in warm rust orange, black, soft green and rich hand-applied gilt accents, making it a wonderful example of English Art Deco-era tableware.

Very good antique condition overall.
The gilding remains attractive, and the set displays beautifully. One cup has a small chip on the rim, clearly shown in the photographs. Apart from this minor flaw, the pieces are in very good vintage condition with only light signs of age and use consistent with an antique tea service.
This is a wonderful collector's set for lovers of English porcelain, Art Deco tableware, vintage tea parties, cottage interiors or traditional afternoon tea. This piece has an attribution mark,
