Introduced in 1967, the Locus Solus collection is one of the defining icons of Italian Radical Design. Named after Raymond Roussel's surrealist novel, the series combines clean architectural tubular steel frames with soft upholstered elements, expressing Gae Aulenti's vision of furniture as both functional object and sculptural statement. Designed for indoor and outdoor use alike, the collection remains one of Poltronova's most celebrated creations and an enduring symbol of Italian design experimentation.

This set has been professionally restored by our workshop. The steel frames have been refinished in their original vibrant orange finish, while all seat cushions have been newly upholstered in a premium Made in Italy cotton fabric. The fabric was carefully selected for its quality, durability, and geometric woven pattern, whose colors and texture recall the playful Pop aesthetic that defines the Locus Solus collection while respecting its original design language.
