This pair presents the chrome-plated steel stem fixed to a circular white lacquered metal wall base, with an articulated black thermoplastic joint allowing the cylindrical reflector to pivot and adjust the light's direction. The reflector itself is a half-cylinder shade in white lacquered metal, open along one edge to direct light downward or toward a reading surface. The visible cable runs externally along the stem, a detail typical of the model's original specification rather than a later modification.
The Adam model turns up occasionally as single fixtures but far less often as a matched pair with consistent patina, which is the case here. Both lamps show light surface wear consistent with age and use — minor marks on the lacquered finish, stem and joint mechanisms functional — with no losses or replacement parts observed. Suited to a collector assembling a Magistretti/O-Luce grouping or to a bedside or reading-nook installation where the pair can be mounted symmetrically.
