Pair of italian wall sconces dating from the 1950s, designed with an elegant and balanced mid-century composition. Each fixture features a round brass wall plate supporting a slender arched brass arm, which curves forward to hold an elongated opaline glass diffuser. The glass shades have a soft cylindrical form with slightly rounded sides and open ends, providing a warm and even light diffusion.
the design is enriched by the contrast between the aged brass structure, the black vertical metal stem and the satin opaline glass, giving the pair a refined decorative character while maintaining a clean and functional silhouette.
the brass surfaces show a natural vintage patina, with oxidation, tonal variations and minor signs of age consistent with time and use. The opaline glass diffusers are in good vintage condition, with light signs of wear. Overall in good vintage condition.
