crafted in mahogany and mahogany veneer, this refined cabinet features beautiful brass detailing, fluted uprights and tapered legs with gilt brass mounts.

the upper section is glazed on the front and sides, creating a light and elegant display space. It is fitted with several glass shelves, making it ideal for displaying ceramics, glassware, books or decorative objects.

the lower section features a beautifully figured mahogany panel framed with geometric brass trim, echoing the decorative details of the glazed section.

maurice hirsch was a french furniture designer and decorator active during the 20th century, particularly known for his sophisticated interpretation of french neoclassical furniture. His work is also associated with the prestigious parisian decorating house maison jansen.

the cabinet is in excellent vintage condition, with only minor signs of age and use consistent with its period. The glass and brass elements are beautifully preserved.
