A remarkable collection of four double-sided vintage bird prints by John James Audubon,

The collection ranges from the commanding Labrador Falcons and a magnificent family of Willow Grouse with their young to the dramatically posed Great American Shrikes, historically known as Butcher Birds. Delicate songbirds complete the grouping, including the Lincoln Finch, Canadian Titmouse, Ruby-Crowned Wren, American Crossbill and Brown-Headed Worm-Eating Warbler, each beautifully presented among flowering branches, berries and lush botanical elements. Collectively, the prints offer a sophisticated palette of crimson, coral pink, soft yellow, forest green, ivory, charcoal, chestnut, russet and warm earth tones.

Each page is printed on both sides, providing eight different Audubon images across four individual sheets. The buyer may select which side of each page to showcase, creating a coordinated grouping of four framed works. They could also be displayed in double-sided glass frames, allowing both sides to be appreciated.

Each sheet measures approximately 8.5 inches wide by 12.75 inches high. There is ample blank space at the top and bottom of the compositions, allowing the pages to be carefully trimmed, if desired, to accommodate slightly shorter or standard-size frames without interfering with the primary artwork.
