This vintage piece from the 1970s is a plaid-patterned brass-wrapped wooden magazine stand. Made to sit on the floor next to a chair, it features 2 compartments, the back one sitting a bit higher than the front.
The handle is engraved brass and the entire piece is wrapped in brass that has been molded into a plaid or square pattern.
This would also work holding cookbooks or cutting boards!
It's a good size, measuring 14.5"W x 10.75"T x 5.5"D. No damage noted and it comes from a non-smoking home.
