Large-scale vintage automotive photograph by noted photographer William Plante, depicting a magnificent 1930 Packard Speedster from Harrah’s renowned Automobile Collection.
Created in 1979, the photograph captures the Packard in profile against a spare desert landscape, emphasizing the dramatic proportions, sweeping fenders, wire wheels, and sculptural lines of the prewar automobile.
The photograph is signed William Plante at the lower right and retains its vintage professional presentation with warm brown double matting and a slender brass-tone metal frame.
The original backing is marked:
“1930 PACKARD SPEEDSTER 5091-B”
“© By Wm. Plante, 1979”
“selected from Harrah’s Automobile Collection”
An unusually substantial piece at more than 32 inches wide, with wonderful presence for a library, study, office, den, collector’s garage, or sophisticated automotive-themed interior.
Dimensions:
32.25” W × 24” H
Condition:
Good vintage condition consistent with age. The brass-tone metal frame has scattered small dings, scuffs, and finish wear, as photographed. Some dust/debris is visible beneath the glass.
