A striking vintage metal basket with an airy, architectural silhouette and beautifully structured wire construction. The basket features a wide circular rim with gracefully curved vertical supports that taper toward the base, creating a sculptural form that looks attractive from every angle.
The silver-tone metal has a finely ribbed, linear quality that gives the piece wonderful texture and catches the light beautifully. A raised circular foot provides stability while emphasizing the basket’s open, geometric design.
Perfect as a fruit basket or centerpiece, it would also make a handsome decorative object on a kitchen island, dining table, console, or open shelving. Its streamlined form works particularly well with Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, Art Deco Revival, and contemporary interiors.
