A large sideboard designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for G-Plan as part of the Fresco range. Teak veneer construction with figured door fronts, recessed door panels, and sculpted solid wood handles to both drawers and cupboards. The carcass sits on a shaped afromosia underframe with tapered legs and a curved stretcher.
Four central drawers with dovetailed construction are flanked by a double-door cupboard at each end, both fitted with a shelf adjustable via pin holes. The top drawer is divided for cutlery and has been newly lined.
The original red G-Plan label is retained inside one door, along with a Gomme Limited paper label dated January 1977. This piece has an attribution mark,
