The base of this lamp is an octagonal Royal Delft vase made for a special commission and never offered for retail sale, hand-painted by one of the factory's master painters in an Art Deco scheme of yellow and grey. It has been newly rewired for US use, the plug can be swapped for any other country's at no charge, and the stated height includes the shade. Amitābha Studio mounted it as a lamp using non-invasive methods that leave the ceramic unaltered, with custom cut brass fittings cut for this piece, a Jacquard shade woven in a matching Deco geometry, and a fabric cord. This piece has an attribution mark,
