The table stands on four curved saber legs. These are connected by ebonized crossbars that intersect in the center, providing stability to the base. The surrounding apron is also cherry veneered and follows the oval shape of the tabletop.

The contrast between the light cherry wood and the black edges and crossbars is characteristic of Biedermeier design.

The table is suitable as a side table, a coffee table, or as a standalone piece in the living room.
