Italian wall sconce dating from the 1950s, characterized by a refined and decorative mid-century composition. The fixture features a round brass wall plate supporting a shaped brass structure with a curved lower arm and a pointed vertical detail rising behind the diffuser. A black lacquered metal cross element and a matching black collar add contrast to the warm brass frame.
the sconce holds an elongated opaline glass diffuser with a softly tapered profile and satin finish, designed to provide a warm and diffused light. The combination of aged brass, black lacquered metal and milky opaline glass gives the piece a balanced italian mid-century character, both decorative and functional.
the brass surfaces show a natural vintage patina, with oxidation, tonal variations and signs of age consistent with time and use. The black metal elements show minor wear, while the opaline glass diffuser remains in good vintage condition with light signs of use. Overall in good vintage condition.
