I believe these to be Kutani … Read more Stunning pair of hand decorated Japanese nesting bowls with a unique scalloped edge design. I believe these to be Kutani per the marking on both bowls but prefer to say Kutani style as they have not been independently verified. There was more than likely another bowl to the set however I only have these two beauties in my possession. The intricate details including a blue basket weave border and colorful florals as well as the scalloped design truly sets these bowls apart from many other similar ones. The large bowl is 9” diameter and the smaller comes in at 7” in diameter. There are identifying marks on the back as well as additional hand painted designs. See less
