The console features an elegant serpentine silhouette with slender cabriole-style legs and an impressive pierced and carved apron. The centerpiece is a large dimensional shell motif surrounded by scrolling acanthus-inspired ornamentation, creating a dramatic Italian Rococo and French Provincial influence.

Additional carved detailing extends along the legs and corners, while the warm medium-to-dark brown finish highlights the depth and dimension of the carving.

The shaped polished stone top features striking charcoal, gray, white and subtle green-toned natural figuring and provides a beautiful contrast against the warm wood base. The top has a molded edge that follows the shaped profile of the table.

A manufacturer’s label identifies the piece as Sherrill 9028, ZF70423 A, Made in Italy, providing excellent provenance for an otherwise highly decorative piece.
