An exceptional, authentic late 18th-century (1785-1800) George III mahogany bowfront sideboard/huntboard in excellent antique condition in the style of George Hepplewhite.
Measuring 59 inches wide, this piece represents the ideal, highly sought-after scale for modern fine dining rooms, entryways, or living spaces.
The piece is characteristic of high-tier Hepplewhite styling. The piece features a beautifully figured flame mahogany bowfront silhouette accented with elegant satinwood inlays and striking hand-carved sunray fan detailing on the corner spandrels. It is supported by classic square tapered legs terminating in refined spade feet - all characterisitic of Hepplewhite.
This huntboard boasts incredible craftsmanship, including authentic 18th-century whisper-thin, hand-cut dovetail joinery throughout the drawer boxes and original-style detailed round brass ring pulls. The top face also features elegant border inlays. A gorgeous, investment-grade statement piece.
