Jose Rodriguez Fuster (b 1946)

Cuban artist specializing in ceramics, mosaics, painting, drawing, engraving, and graphic design.
In 1963 he studied at the Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte in Havana. Since then, he has exhibited widely internationally, including in France, England, the USA, and other countries.

He has exhibited in various museums. shows and his work has been published in a number of books.
By extending his artistic practice from his home to entire streets and neighborhoods, he has transformed Jaimanitas into a unique work of public art, decorating over 80 houses with ornate murals and domes to suit the personalities of his neighbors.
His pieces can be found in collections at the Center for Cuban Studies, New York; the Museo de la Cerámica, Castillo de la Real Fuerza, Havana; and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana.
He is also very popular with celebrity collectors, and some of his collectors include Madonna, Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, and many others. See less
