A wonderfully sculptural vintage California pottery serving dish featuring an expressive orange, brown, yellow and earth-toned drip glaze.
Designed with an organic, free-form silhouette, the piece features multiple divided serving compartments that surround a raised central bowl. Small integrated feet elevate the dish slightly from the table and further emphasize its sculptural Mid-Century profile.
The underside is marked “Cal. Orig. U.S.A.” along with additional impressed/handwritten numbers that appear to read 850 85.
A distinctive example of colorful American Mid-Century entertaining ware with excellent visual presence.
