Crafted from solid oak, the table is defined by its bold architectural form and exceptional woodworking. The substantial square legs support a broad frame surrounding two recessed glass panels, introducing transparency into the otherwise monumental composition. Rather than disguising the construction, the intricate interlocking joints are proudly displayed, becoming an integral part of the design. The table is in very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. The oak has developed a beautiful natural patina, and both recessed glass panels remain well preserved with only minor signs of use. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
