A splendid hair clip with a bow-shaped profile or silhouette, inspired by Afghan Kuchi tribal jewelry. Made of polished metal and decorated with fine engraved patterns, this traditional, multifunctional ornament of wrought metal is typically used as a hair clip, brooch, or pendant. The rectangular metal plate features precise linear engravings and small, hand-molded and embossed concentric circles.
In the center are three small faceted cabochons of red-colored glass, resembling rubies, which add charm, color, and sparkle. The piece is finished at the bottom with thirteen small hanging bells, known as gungroos. In Kuchi culture, the tinkling and rhythmic sound they produce when moved serve to ward off negative energies and celebrate movement. It has a simple clip closure at the back.

This brooch is inspired by traditional Kuchi women's jewelry, made with silver, brass, or copper alloys, always with a silver finish and decorated with small stones or colored glass. Furthermore, as is typical of jewelry from the Middle East, these pieces always feature dangling elements, such as coins, bells, or small beads, which add movement and sound. See less
