Designers associated with Asko Oy included some of Finland’s most influential names in modern furniture design, including Ilmari Tapiovaara, Eero Aarnio and Olli Borg. Their designs contributed to the international reputation of Asko Oy as one of the leading manufacturers of Scandinavian mid-century furniture.

The modular shelving system from the Anjala series consists of a secretary desk, cabinet elements with wooden and glass doors, a chest of drawers and adjustable shelves. All elements can be arranged individually and adapted to suit personal preferences and different spatial requirements.

The cabinet bodies are made of plywood with birch veneer. The frames, doors, drawers and panels are made of solid wood. The craftsmanship is reflected in numerous details: brass hinges, recessed keyholes with brass escutcheons, and solid wood edging on all furniture elements underline the quality of workmanship. Manufactured by Asko Oy Made in Finland.

This modular wall unit combines timeless Scandinavian design with excellent functionality. Thanks to its flexible modular system, shelves and cabinet elements can be individually adjusted and rearranged at any time. The furniture integrates effortlessly into a wide range of interiors from classic and elegant to modern and eclectic and becomes a distinctive focal point in any living space.

The entire furniture piece has been professionally restored and carefully cleaned. All surfaces have been professionally refinished while preserving the original appearance and authentic character of the piece. The restoration was carried out with respect for the original substance; no alterations were made to the original furniture.
