Asko Oy collaborated with some of the most influential figures in modern Finnish furniture design, including Ilmari Tapiovaara, Eero Aarnio, and Olli Borg. Their designs played a pivotal role in establishing Asko Oy’s international reputation as a leading manufacturer of mid century Scandinavian furniture.

The "Anjala" shelving system comprises cabinet units featuring bookshelves and glass fronted display sections, a chest of drawers, and height-adjustable shelves. All elements can be arranged individually, allowing for customization based on personal preference and specific spatial requirements.

The main bodies are constructed from birch veneered plywood, while the frames, doors, drawers, and decorative trim are made of solid wood. High quality craftsmanship is evident in numerous details: brass hinges, recessed keyholes with brass fittings, and solid wood edging on all components underscore the exceptional quality of the construction.
