It was designed by the prominent architect Jindřich Halabala and expertly manufactured by the renowned UP závody. The overall appearance of the furniture is defined by exquisite walnut veneer, which highlights the rich grain and underscores the high craftsmanship of period Czechoslovak production.

The piece has been preserved in a very rare, unblemished, and well-maintained original condition, having undergone professional care that included the revival of the original wood polish.
