The colored glass shelves are replacement pieces and are not original to the stand. Produced in Czechoslovakia during the mid-20th century, this flower stand is a fine example of Bauhaus and Functionalist design, where clean lines, lightweight tubular steel construction, and practical functionality come together in a timeless composition. The stand is constructed from chrome-plated tubular steel and fitted with new colored glass shelves, carefully made as replacements for the original shelves while respecting the proportions and character of the original design.
