City Layers (Interlaced I) is a signed and numbered limited edition photographic print by London artist Jaykoe (Jon Kehoe), created in 2015. This example is numbered 16/200 and forms part of the artist's City Layers series, exploring architecture, urban structure and the layered nature of contemporary city life through digitally constructed photographic imagery.
Combining photographic source material with digital composition techniques, Jaykoe creates complex urban landscapes characterised by geometric repetition, architectural fragmentation and vibrant colour. The work reflects the artist's view of cities as layered environments shaped by both their physical structures and the experiences of the people who inhabit them.
Educated at The Cass School of Art, London, where he graduated with Distinction, Jaykoe has exhibited in the UK and internationally. His work is held in a number of public and private collections and is recognised for its distinctive fusion of photography, design and urban observation.
Professionally presented in a contemporary deep-set white frame, the work offers strong visual presence and is particularly suited to modern interiors, architectural settings and design-led spaces.
