Pair of small lidded urns in patinated plaster, decorated with relief motifs of dragonflies on the bodies and putti on the lids.
Their naturalistic and Symbolist vocabulary places them firmly within the spirit of Art Nouveau, circa 1900. The material and subtle surface irregularities give them a soft, almost archaeological patina.
They can be displayed as a decorative pair or used as small jewellery or keepsake boxes.
Good vintage condition. Original patina, with light signs of age and minor localized chips to the relief decoration and lids, as visible in the photographs.
