About the Artist:
Slim Aarons (1916–2006) was an American photographer renowned for documenting high society, jet-setters, and Hollywood royalty, famously defining his work as "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places". After serving as a WWII combat photographer, he rejected war photography to focus on luxury, capturing candid, sun-drenched scenes of leisure without stylists or artificial lighting.
