Adding interest and texture to any wall, this sculptural design was developed by Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan, the company he founded in his native Sweden in the 1930s. This Model 421 wall lamp hails from the 1940s-50s and is an excellent example of how Bergström created fabric lampshades as alternatives to metal, which was in short supply due to the war. This piece was rewired to the highest standards in Los Angeles and functions as a plug-in.
