A distinguished vintage mahogany center table with beautifully executed inlay and an unmistakably English-inspired presence. The round top is richly figured with a dramatic radial veneer composition, framed by fine string inlay and contrasting satinwood-style banding. A small central medallion adds another layer of decorative refinement.
The base is equally considered, with four slender fluted and turned legs connected by a graceful shaped X-form stretcher. Decorative turning at the lower sections gives the table a light architectural rhythm while retaining a formal, collected character.
