The surface shows concentric cutting marks from years of use, framed by the original double-beveled edge that distinguishes early commercial butcher blocks. Each leg is lathe-turned and securely set, lending both stability and quiet craftsmanship to the piece. Its low stance and substantial weight make it equally suited as a compact coffee table or as a preserved example of early 20th-century shop furniture. See less
