The handcrafted, round ceramic base features softly blended beige and sand tones, adorned at the top with a delicate, dripping glaze—a technique characteristic of scandinavian and german studio ceramics of this era. The slightly rustic texture of the surface lends it an artistic look, making each piece unique.

the lamp is crowned by a tall, cylindrical shade made of natural-colored fabric, which provides warm, diffused light and harmoniously complements the natural color palette of the ceramic. Its form combines minimalism and modernist craftsmanship, making it a perfect fit for scandinavian, boho, or contemporary interior design styles.

the philosophy of the krösselbach ceramic workshop follows the principles of the bauhaus, striving for a clear, dynamic, and functional form with its own rigorous aesthetic. The focus of the design is on appealing, unique individual pieces or series that blend seamlessly into their surroundings while still standing out. I mix clay from my own clay pit with other raw materials to create my own ceramic mixture. Firing at approximately 1070 °c results in a sintered, stoneware-like form.
