Diffuser composed of two clear pressed glass elements with a chromed metal support and a metal plate. Made in Europe, 1970s.
Wall lamp made in Europe in the 1970s. The diffuser is composed of two identical clear pressed glass elements, joined together to create a faceted volume with a characteristic rhomboid shape. The thickness of the glass and the slightly wavy surface alter the perception of the light source, while the internal chromed metal support leaves the diffuser visually suspended from the mounting plate. This construction solution was typical of European production of the period, in which pressed glass was used to enhance the light through simple geometric shapes. Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
