Pendant lamp in Swedish pine with a circular, vertical diffuser, defined by a succession of horizontal curved wooden slats connected by radial baffles that give the structure a truncated cone silhouette. The composition alternates solids and voids, shielding the light source and enhancing the depth of the volume through the rhythm of the slats. Construction solutions of this type became widespread in Scandinavian production in the 1960s, a period in which wood was reinterpreted as a material capable of shaping light as well as form. Swedish pine, derived from Pinus sylvestris, found widespread use due to its flexibility and stability, qualities that allowed for curved elements to be created while maintaining a lightweight structure. The clean geometric design recalls the research developed by designers such as Hans Agne Jakobsson and Werner Schou, key figures in the evolution of Nordic lighting in the second half of the twentieth century. The pendant is completed with a 95 cm white electrical cable.
