Pendant lamp made of Swedish pine, featuring a low, broad circular diffuser constructed from thin bent wood slats arranged in overlapping concentric bands. The structure develops a large, enveloping volume that allows light to filter through the gaps between the wooden elements, producing soft, diffused lighting. The focus is on the continuity of the horizontal lines, a recurring theme in Nordic design of the 1960s, when bent wood became the protagonist of lighting thanks to its ability to combine construction quality and formal research. Swedish pine, belonging to the Pinus sylvestris species, was particularly prized for its elasticity, lightness, and regular grain, characteristics that favored its elaboration into thin, curved elements. A language close to the design sensibility of designers such as Hans Agne Jakobsson and Werner Schou, interpreters of the most fertile era of postwar Scandinavian lighting. The pendant is completed with an 80cm black electrical cable.
