Vintage furniture, a sideboard made in France in the 1930s.
The frame is solid oak; the cupboard door is veneered. It features carved wood decorations with leaf motifs and geometric semicircles typical of the Art Deco style.
The top is removable and made of white marble with gray/green veining.
A large storage drawer with an attractive silver-plated metal handle.
One cupboard door opens to reveal ample storage space. The shelf is 111 cm long and 35 cm deep. It has a working lock and a key is included.
The shelf is 27 cm high, and the top of the shelf is 36 cm high.
The drawer interior measures 60 cm wide, 11 cm high, and 33 cm deep.
The shelf and drawer interior have been sanded and varnished for ease of use.
The piece has been fully treated against insects.
This sideboard was originally located in a large stone house in Béziers, France (34).
