The Plywood Chair was designed by Jasper Morrison in 1988 for the exhibition “Some New Items for the Home, Part 1” at the DAAD Gallery in Berlin.
Vitra began production of the chair in 1989. Its simple design and slightly flexible plywood seat ensure comfort and make it a timeless design classic.
This is the version with the open back.
