An excellent choice for a study, home library, living room, or professional office, as well as for interiors designed in classic or loft styles.
The bookcase features glass panes with a 2.5 cm bevel, accompanied by a decorative hand-ground border cut set 1 cm away from the bevel—a hallmark of high-quality, custom-made furniture from the early 20th century.
The combination of the 2.5 cm bevel and the additional decorative border grind (often referred to as a "double bevel" or "beveled edge with decorative border cut") significantly elevates the piece's quality. Such details were characteristic of premium furniture—particularly from German and Silesian workshops—produced between 1905 and 1920.
Origin:
Likely Silesia or Germany (Saxony, Thuringia, or the regions surrounding Wrocław or Berlin). The style of the floral-motif frieze, the spherical feet, the hardware, and the hand-ground beveled glass are highly characteristic of German furniture design from the 1910–1915 period.
