Rare vintage Warren Platner–designed pedestal sink and matching bidet for American Standard.
This striking two-piece bathroom suite features Platner’s distinctive sculptural, organic design with sweeping curves and an integrated, almost futuristic appearance. Both pieces retain the Warren Platner / American Standard maker’s mark.
The set includes a large sculptural pedestal lavatory sink and matching bidet in a warm ivory/cream finish. The original coordinating sculptural faucet handles and fixtures are present, giving the set an exceptionally cohesive period look.
An unusual opportunity for a designer, collector, architect, or homeowner restoring a Mid-Century Modern or 1970s-era interior. These pieces would also make a dramatic statement in a powder room, primary bath, boutique hotel, or other design-focused space.

Condition
Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The ceramic/porcelain surfaces present very well overall with their glossy ivory/cream finish. There are signs of previous installation and use, particularly on concealed mounting and underside areas. One faucet/handle component has visible damage, as shown in the photographs. Plumbing components have not been tested and may require servicing or replacement prior to installation.
I would not describe the plumbing as working unless you’ve actually tested it.
