The exterior of the egg-shaped bodies is heavily encrusted with a highly textured mosaic of multi-toned crushed stones, mother-of-pearl fragments, and shell shards embedded in a rustic grout. Both vessels feature matching domed lids adorned with a raised, three-dimensional geometric diamond facet pattern that tapers upward to a sculptural, multi-faceted pointed finial. The smooth pedestals, rims, and lids are all finished in a painted metallic bronze-gold coat, while the interiors and bases reveal the rich, dark purple glass core underneath.
