Crafted from heavy, hand-forged iron, this striking piece features an organic, biomorphic design with seven wavy, branch-like arms rising from a tripod-style root base. It makes a dramatic, sculptural centerpiece for a dining table, mantle, or sideboard. Heavy, solid hand-forged wrought iron with patinated copper (lots of very interesting blue-green verdigris.) I have run across these before but I have never seen one with seven arms . Holds 7 standard taper candles. Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina. Shows light, age-appropriate wear and minor historic wax residue that adds to its character. Structurally sound with no wobbling.
