A striking Prohibition-era cocktail service by Meriden S.P. Co., part of the International Silver Company. Dating to the late 1920s, the set features the maker’s hammered No. 313 design with wonderfully aged, variegated patina.
The 12-piece collection includes one large handled cocktail shaker or drink mixer and 11 matching stemmed cocktail goblets. The shaker has a removable cork-lined lid and an interior strainer at the pouring spout. The undersides of the goblets are marked “Meriden S.P. Co. / International S. Co. / 313.”
The warm copper, silver, blue and charcoal tones create a dramatic sculptural presence. An evocative addition to an Art Deco interior, home bar, cocktail collection or styled display.
