The fronts feature … Read more Elegant pair of single beds from the 1930s, combining chrome-plated steel frames with warm walnut veneer panels. The fronts feature a distinctive chevron grain, while the sides and backs show the typical figured walnut pattern. The continuous curved structure and circular feet are characteristic of interwar Czechoslovak functionalist design.
Both beds have been professionally restored: the wooden panels refinished and lacquered, the chrome carefully polished while preserving its original patina and gentle signs of age. New wooden slatted bases have been fitted, making them ready for immediate use.
Mattress size: approx. 195 × 95 cm.
Can be used separately or placed side by side to form a generous double bed. See less
