Their fiberglass furniture was considered revolutionary and represented an entirely new process. The ‘DSX’ chairs designed for Herman Miller, date from the 1950s and 1960s. The chairs are also identified as early Vitra-manufactured pieces, a fact further confirmed by their markings. The chairs’ surfaces show scratches, wear and rust in places and several of the bases are missing. See less
