Painted metal frame with adjustable lampshade, satin-finish aluminum body, and circular base. Sae brand and "77" model stamped under the base. 1950s.
model "77" table lamp, produced by sae in sweden in the mid-1950s. The adjustable and removable lampshade features a hemispherical metal dome, interrupted by a band of thin slits that define its profile and facilitate heat dissipation. The satin-finish aluminum body and circular base lend balance to the composition, while the adjustable diffuser system allows for easy adjustment of the light's direction. A design in which each component serves a specific function, without sacrificing careful attention to proportion. The lamp retains the sae brand and "77" model stamped under the base. Acceptable condition. Shows signs of age, particularly wear to the paint. Please refer to the photographs. This piece has an attribution mark,
