Description
A substantial 36-inch Fine Art Light professional picture light designed for sophisticated illumination of paintings and framed artwork. Manufactured by Fine Art Light LLC, this specialized gallery lighting system combines a handsome brass-finished exterior with highly adjustable positioning and unusually precise control over illumination.
Measuring approximately 36 inches across, the fixture incorporates five individual light openings within the underside of the housing. Two adjustable support arms allow the light to be positioned relative to the artwork, with each arm extending easily from approximately 7 inches at its shortest position to approximately 14 inches at full extension.
A particularly desirable feature is the integral rotary dimmer. Rather than providing only simple on/off illumination, the control turns through a broad adjustment range, allowing the light level to transition from very subdued illumination to a much brighter setting. This allows the owner to fine-tune the intensity to complement the artwork, surrounding room lighting and desired atmosphere.
The fixture is adjustable at multiple points, allowing the angle and projection of the light to be tailored to the artwork being displayed. It uses readily replaceable bulbs, making continued use straightforward.
The interior manufacturer's label identifies Fine Art Light LLC of Manchester, Missouri, and references the company's Masterpiece Series and Gallery Series. The original manufacturer label is photographed and included with the listing.
The fixture has been tested and is in working condition, including the adjustable dimmer. The brass-finished surfaces present beautifully overall, with minor signs of previous use consistent with a pre-owned lighting fixture.
