Beautiful, authentic early 20th-century antique transferware relish dish produced by Allertons Ltd. in Longton, England.
Features the universally beloved, timeless Chinese Pavilion "Blue Willow" landscape pattern framed inside an elegant, wavy scalloped border.
The underside bears the classic stamped underglaze Allertons hallmark and the impressed worker mark "71".
This piece is an excellent size for holding keys on an entryway table, displaying jewelry on a vanity, or adding historic character to a decorative wall arrangement.
Good antique condition with no structural chips or large cracks. Features a beautifully aged patina, including extensive tight glaze crazing and distinct areas of vintage brown discoloration/staining along the unglazed base ring and underside, which confirms its decades of history.
