This vintage Turkish Oushak carpet (circa mid-20th century) features a central medallion design, as well as patterns of smaller flowers and floral elements in the four cornices, and in the surrounding borders. The rug's qualities are enhanced by its particularly soft and lustrous wool. Colors include gray, ivory, and cream, set on a dark / chocolate brown background.
